Join the Minstry of Cat team. Right now, we are hiring for the following positions:
service/ barista
Key Responsibilities:
Coffee and Service:
Prepare coffee consistently to a high standard.
Prepare other drinks and snacks from behind the counter/bar.
Greet and serve guests sitting at the bar or those who walk up to order.
Keep the counter/bar clean, tidy, and presentable at all times.
Ensure the espresso machine is well stocked and in proper working order.
Deliver excellent customer service: greet guests, take orders promptly, deliver food and
drinks, and respond professionally to customer questions and feedback.
Handle any customer complaints politely and professionally, offering to replace food or drinks as necessary.
Provide bills and take payments in a timely manner.
Promote cafe merchandise to guests.
Cat Care:
Feed the cats at designated times throughout the day.
Ensure water bowls are filled regularly.
Clean litter trays multiple times a day.
Monitor cats and guests to ensure cats are not disturbed or harmed, and that they are in
good condition.
Perform basic veterinary care if needed, such as administering medication.
Notify the manager if any cat requires advanced veterinary care.
Cleaning:
Follow all cleaning protocols to maintain a hygienic and welcoming environment.
Swiftly clean up any mess, whether from guests or cats, to ensure a pleasant
atmosphere.
Regularly wipe down tables, counters, and chairs, ensuring they remain tidy and
presentable.
Maintain the cleanliness of the cafe floor, sweeping or mopping as necessary.
Ensure restrooms are regularly checked and cleaned.
Dispose of trash and recycling properly throughout the day.
Qualifications
Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred.
Strong customer service skills and ability to create a positive guest experience.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to closely follow protocols.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage tasks efficiently.
Commitment to maintaining a clean and tidy workspace at all times.
Barista training or experience is a plus but not required.
Experience in animal welfare or care is a plus but not essential.
A love for cats is a must!

Operations & Animal Welfare Manager
Job Summary
We are looking for a highly organized and compassionate individual to manage the day-to-day operations of our cat cafe while ensuring the health and well-being of our resident cats. This role requires a balance of leadership, logistical coordination, and a passion for animal welfare. The ideal candidate will oversee staff, ensure the smooth running of cafe operations, and ensure that our feline residents receive the care and attention they need.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Management:
Oversee all daily operations within the cafe, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
Supervise and manage staff, ensuring they deliver high-quality customer service and
adhere to cafe protocols.
Plan and manage lunch box deliveries, coordinating with drivers to ensure timely and
efficient service.
Maintain high hygiene standards by ensuring staff adhere to cleaning protocols.
Coordinate cafe maintenance, identifying any issues and liaising with repair services for
timely resolutions.
Conduct regular inspections of the cafe to ensure it remains clean, welcoming, and fully
operational at all times.
Attend weekly meetings with the founders to discuss goals, performance, and any
operational challenges.
Staff Training & Development:
Conduct training sessions for new staff on customer service, cafe protocols, and cat care procedures.
Provide ongoing staff development, encouraging a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork.
Ensure all team members are cross-trained on key tasks like making coffee, serving food, and cat care.
Inventory Management:
Oversee stock levels for cafe supplies (coffee, food, cleaning products) and cat supplies (food, litter, medical supplies).
Manage and place orders with suppliers when necessary, ensuring that both the cafe and the cats' needs are met without interruptions.
Event Coordination:
Assist in planning and organizing special events at the cafe, such as cat adoption events, drawing evenings, or promotions for lunch boxes.
Ensure that events are executed smoothly and support the overall goals of the cafe.
Reporting & Analytics:
Provide regular performance reports to the founders, not only on staff performance and cafe operations but also on trends in customer preferences and operational efficiency.
Monitor and track key metrics related to cat welfare (such as adoption rates) and cafe
performance (sales, foot traffic, etc.).
Cat Welfare:
Monitor the health and well-being of all resident cats, ensuring they are happy and healthy.
Coordinate with the shelter partner and veterinarian to address any cat health concerns.
Transport cats to veterinary appointments as needed, ensuring their safety and comfort.
Ensure that all cleaning and care protocols related to the cats' living areas are strictly
followed.
Provide regular reports on the health and behavior of the cats to the founders.
Qualifications
Proven experience in operations management, preferably in a hospitality or animal care environment.
Experience managing a team and coordinating logistics.
Passion for animal welfare and experience handling cats is essential.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to handling challenges.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Fluent in English and Khmer
Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
